Acceleration Field, 2010
collaboration with composer Ron Sedgwick

Acceleration Field is a happening that includes a performance/installation by Elizabeth Folk and a “crushed electronica and electro accoustic” piece by composer Ron Sedgwick. Three Area 51 inspired figures equipped with mobile projector packs surround a quartz crystal and investigate it by illuminating it with a mash-up of glitchy Google Earth images. Movement artists inside of the crystal cause the images to gyrate and pulsate in response to exposure to the movement images and music.
